WASHINGTON - First Lady Michelle Obama would tell voters that as ‘Mom-In-Chief’ she feels compelled to get involved, as she starts her first campaign swing of the midterm season in Milwaukee, Wisc.
According to her prepared remarks, she said: “As I travel around this country, and look into the eyes of every single child I meet, I see what’s at stake,” reports CBS News.
“I see it in the child whose mom has just lost her job and worries about how her family will pay the bills. I see it in the child whose dad has just been deployed and tries so hard to be brave for his younger siblings.
“I see it in the child stuck in a crumbling school, which looks around and wonders, ‘What does this mean for my future?’ she said.
She would deliver her personal message to voters in critical battleground states. Wisconsin is where Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold is in a tough re-election campaign against Republican candidate Ron Johnson. (ANI)
