MELBOURNE - A Chinese armless pianist has won the ‘China’s Got Talent’ final in Shanghai.

Twenty-three year old pianist Liu Wei performs with his toes after losing both his arms when he was 10 after touching a high-voltage wire during a game of hide-and-seek, reports News.com.au.

According to the Shanghai Daily reports, Liu Wei defeated runner-up, seven-year-old standup comedian Zhang Fengxi, at Sunday’s final at the Shanghai Stadium.

He wowed audiences with his performance of You’re Beautiful - singing and using only his toes to play the keys.

Liu - who won over the judges with his remark “at least I have a pair of perfect legs” - was invited by Taiwan singer Jolin Tsai as a guest performer during her world tour, giving him the chance to perform in Las Vegas for three months.

He is also likely to receive a performance contract with Fremantle Media and Sony Music Entertainment. (ANI)
