NDA to get new Super Demona aircraft

PUNE - The countrys tri-services military training institute, National Defence Academy (NDA) at Khadakwasla will soon get a Super Demona aircraft for training air force cadets, an official said here Friday.

This would enable the NDA maximize the flying time given to its air force cadets undergoing training here.

Presently, there are around 65 air force cadets who are trained in meteorology, air traffic and flight, paragliding, aeromodelling, skeet shooting and deflection shooting.

Meanwhile, the students and civilians at the NDA celebrated the 78th anniversary of the Indian Air Force here Friday with enthusiasm. NDA Commandant Vice Admiral Satish Soni cut the traditional Air Force Day cake in the presence of service personnel.
