Times Square’s Naked Cowboy running for president

NEW YORK - The Naked Cowboy, Times Square’s brief-wearing busker, is going to be a competitor for Barack Obama in the next presidential elections-as he is running for America’s highest public office.
“Obama’s going down,” the New York Daily News quoted a clean-cut Naked Cowboy as telling CNN.
The 39-year-old exhibitionist, whose real name is Robert John Burck, vows to bring back a robust economy, a fiscally responsible government and the strongest National Defense on Earth, according to a press release on his website, nakedcowboy.com.
“What American’s [sic] need is a president who seeks to empower the people,” the mis-spelled press release said.
Despite his risque attire, the Naked Cowboy says he is a conservative.
“America you can count on me to be conservative through and through,” Burck said in a televised press conference held at KDF Car Wraps in New Jersey last week.
Burck’s campaign promises include defeating the Taliban, ending illegal immigration, cutting taxes, fighting multi-culturalism in public institutions and upholding the second amendment.
His father was a “career politician” and he holds a political science degree, said Burck.
Last year, Burck ran for New York City mayor but dropped out when New York’s intricate bureaucratic process of running political campaigns proved to be more than he could handle. (ANI)
