Al-Qaeda, Pak Taliban planning to abduct Lebanese ambassador: Pak intelligence report

LAHORE - Pakistani intelligence agencies have revealed that Al-Qaeda and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have plans to abduct the Lebanese ambassador and other senior diplomats from Islamabad.
According to an intelligence report, the terrorists might execute the plot in the near future.
Another report revealed that a group of terrorists, code-named ‘Sajan Group’, has dispatched personnel from Wazirstan to carry out suicide attacks and bomb blasts across the country.
After receiving the reports, the Interior Ministry has directed police to make all necessary and foolproof security arrangements to avert any untoward incident, the Daily Times reports. (ANI)
