NEW YORK - The new ad by Virgin that features images of sexy stewardesses are fuelling many a passenger’s fantasy.
In the new Virgin spot, which began running today in movie theatres in the U.K. and will air on British TV starting Sunday, a bevy of beautiful flight attendants wearing red, form-fitting Virgin uniforms, red stiletto heels and bright red lipstick walk glance at the camera seductively as they pull their carry-on luggage in slow motion.
The ad shows the airhostesses doing their pre-flight safety instructions as a sexy line dance, and even has male passengers doing a bit of bump-and-grind around huge shrimp cocktail forks serving as makeshift stripper poles.
The tagline, “Your airline’s either got it, or it hasn’t,” reports The New York Daily News.
“The inspiration behind the ad was to recreate the glamour of flying on Virgin,” said Chris Rossi, Virgin’s senior VP of North America.
“It was an opportunity to showcase what we do on a daily basis, which is provide high quality service. Travelling internationally shouldn’t have to be an endurance test. People should feel good about having to travel,” he said.
The carrier’s ‘Still Red Hot’ campaign last year also showcased a group of gorgeous Virgin flight attendants stopping men in their tracks as they sashayed through a terminal. (ANI)
