Prayer service on Gandhi’s birthday

NEW DELHI - Members of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Smriti will hold a prayer ceremony here Saturday on the 141st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Oct 2.
“Renowned vocalist Sitanath Biswas will lead the prayer service which will begin at 4 p.m.,” said Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee, vice chairperson of Gandhi Smriti.
Children below five will not be allowed to take part in the programme.
Patriotic songs and all-religious prayers will be performed at the programme, to be held at the Gandhi Smriti premises on Tees January Marg here.
