Bangladesh to host its biggest art show next month

DHAKA - The biggest international art exhibition and competition in Bangladesh, for which 26 countries have confirmed participation so far, will begin Oct 8, an official said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the show, Kamal Lohani, director general of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, said.
The organisers said they would launch a website on the 14th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2010.
They have also invited 10 countries from other continents to participate in the festival as visitors, The Daily Star said.
