LOS ANGELES, USA (Gaea Times.com)- Los Angeles experienced the highest temperature on Monday marking it the hottest day ever. The temperature in Los Angeles was at an all time high of 113 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday with many people going online to express their indignation. The intense heat experienced in the region seems to have brought out the humorous and sarcastic side in many people who posted various comments on their blogs yesterday. One comment suggested that people should fry an egg on their car’s hood while another comment was encouraging people to jump in their neighbor’s pond. Nothing beats a problem better than making fun of that situation. A better example could not have been presented by the people who struggled with the hot weather all day long.
On the serious side the authorities had asked the firefighters to stay alert in case a fire broke out as a result of the soaring temperatures. The firefighters were well equipped and standing by to combat any situation that may have arose. San Gabriel Valley reported loss of power in the afternoon but it wasn’t for more than an hour. Despite the dangerous threats arising out of the weather yesterday no wildfires or other life threatening situations were reported in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Weather proved really disappointing for children as they had to stay indoors in the afternoon. In South Pasadena the school authorities were forced to ask the teachers to cancel all outdoor activities and keep the student indoors and well hydrated. Many parents also took immense care in keeping their children hydrated throughout the day due to the rising heat which is expected to decrease steadily by tomorrow.
