KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to launch several programmes to help Malay Indian entrepreneurs and small businessmen.
“We have charted out several programmes, which would be held in various states, to benefit the Indian business community,” The Star quoted Malaysian Indian Chamber of commerce and Industry President K.K. Eswaran, as saying.
He also revealed that a start in this direction is being made with the help of an RM one million grant provided by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to the Chamber.
The Chamber would provide provisions to 300 needy people and orphans on October 16, on the occasion of Deepavali, he added. (ANI)
