Chhattisgarh Police arrested four Maoists

BASTAR - Chhattisgarh Police arrested four Maoists during a search operation in Bastar District on Saturday.
“We successfully arrested four Maoists named Baman, Pardesi, Sukhman and Sukhram. Out of these Baman and Pardesi carried rupees 5,000 reward. The other two, Sukhman and Sukhram, were involved in murder case in which they beheaded a person named Bomra Ram on August 24,” said Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Surjeet Singh.
“I am not involved in any case. But did blasts in other places,” said Baman, one of the arrested Maoists.
Earlier on Wednesday, Chhattisgarh Police took into its custody four Naxals and recovered arms from their hideout in Rajnandgaon District.
Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap and arrested the four Maoists named Jangu, Suraj, Lalsai and Kunwar Sinha from their residences in Mahaka area. (ANI)
