BEIJING - Troops from five countries that make up the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) - China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan - took part in a firing drill in Kazakhstan.
This was the third joint training of the Peace Mission 2010 anti-terror exercise, and involved tanks, armoured vehicles, fighter planes, bombers, rockets and anti-aircraft missiles at the Matybulak military range Friday, Xinhua reported.
The sixth country in the SCO - Uzbekistan - did not take part in the exercise.
During the more than one-hour drill, participating forces conducted three operations - fire preparations and breakthroughs, raiding enemies hiding in residential areas and putting reserve forces into battle.
