NEW DELHI - The Chinese government, in its move to make life easier for women who have toddler boys, has decided to install urinals in ladies toilets.
The move was made after the district government carried out random interviews and found that mothers were more likely to take their sons to the ladies’ room if the father was not around, the China Daily reported. local public sanitation official said women’s toilets in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, have urinals that are separated from the squat toilets for women by doors to avoid embarrassment.
Tianxin district officials are also planning to add female urination devices in busy public restrooms to supplement the squat toilets, which can at times fall short. (ANI)
