Oz primary school apologizes for awarding prize to Hitler costume

MELBOURNE - An Australian primary school has apologized for awarding a student dressed as Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler at a costume party the first prize.

According to the West Australian newspaper, the school has sent a letter of apology to parents after several complained about the child’s Nazi-inspired getup, which included a swastika emblem, the Courier Mail reported.ky News Australia reported that the school’s principal has denied allegations that classmates had roared approval with chants of “Hitler, Hitler”.

He explained that youngsters had simply been calling out the name of the character they thought should win. (ANI)
