Police arrest 17 stone pelters in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug. (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir police here on Sunday arrested 17 stone pelters, wanted in different cases of mob violence from different parts of the Srinagar city.

City South police arrested a notorious stone pelter, who purportedly revealed about eight other stone pelters, who were also later arrested at different places around Mahjoor Nagar in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, City North police arrested eight stone pelters who were wanted in different acts of mob violence.

Police claimed to have enough video as well as photographs as evidence, against the arrested stone pelters. (ANI)
