NEW DELHI - Accepting India’s offer of $5 million assistance towards flood relief, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani Friday sent a box of mangoes to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a goodwill gesture.

“Yes, we did get the box of mangoes. It was with the best compliments from the people of Pakistan,” a top official at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) told IANS when asked about the fruity gift from across the border.

According to officials, the box was delivered at the PMO by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
