NEW YORK - White House gatecrasher and Real Housewives of D.C.’ star Michaele Salahi has furiously denied co-star’s claims that she is anorexic, according to reports.
According to RadarOnline, Salahi said her ‘Real Housewives’ co-star Lynda Erkiletian has been hinting that Salahi has an eating disorder.
“Lynda, as seen in episode one and again in this episode, continued with her obsessive behavior, ranting and raging about my weight,” the New York Post quoted Salahi as writing on her ‘Real Housewives’ blog at BravoTV.com.
“I guess there will be more talk about my weight and my alleged eating disorder thanks to Lynda,” she added.
Salahi claims Erkiletian once told her husband, Tareq Salahi, “Get your wife some fries or a burger, she is unhealthy.”
Erkiletian said she has been concerned about Salahi’s weight and health, but has never used “the A-word” because, “As a [modeling] agent … I know better.”
Erkiletian and Salahi met 15 years ago and were friends before shooting ‘Real Housewives’.
“I have tried my best to teach Lynda that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and shines from within. But Lynda takes pleasure in tearing down other women, which I think is wrong,” Salahi wrote on her blog.
“I have repeatedly forgiven Lynda for her anger and hate, and have moved forward. Girls need to celebrate one another and build each other up. Life is hard enough!” she added. (ANI)
