NEW DELHI - A seven member Chinese delegation, including the Vice-Foreign Minister of China, Ai Ping, met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Gadkari here on Tuesday and reportedly discussed issues on strengthening the relations between the two countries.

“Under a congenial atmosphere that can only further strengthen the relations between India and China, several exchanges of delegations took place between the Chinese delegation and Gadkari to strengthen the relations, and talks related to several other issues were discussed in a peaceful manner,” said BJP leader Vijay Jolly.

Jolly said one of the major issues discussed between Gadkari and Ping was Chinese intrusions into what India claims as her territory.

“There were a number of issues raised by the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Gadkari also raised issues, which are a result of the activities of the Chinese government related to several issues as Indians have a mentality of thinking about Chinese intrusion,” he added. (ANI)
