Nicolas Sarkozy is a fan of American hardware

NEW YORK - Nicolas Sarkozy may be the President of France, but his loyalty is towards America, at least as far as hardware is concerned.

According to Gatecrasher, the French president is a fan of U.S.-made hardware, reports The New York Daily News.

The President’s representative was seen shopping for some high-end doorknobs, hinges and cabinetry items at the Soho Showroom of The Nanz Company, a spy said.

Although it’ not sure if the items were for Sarkozy’s official residence, given that Nanz is also a favorite of Oprah Winfrey, whose tastes run pretty grand, it could be.

A sales associate at Nanz confirmed that a rep for Sarkozy had ndeed made the purchase and said, “We hope he uses us for all is palaces in the future.” (ANI)
