KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department T. Murugiah has urged the Indian community to take action to protect and promote the Tamil language and culture in this country.

“Indians must be proud of their heritage and take steps to promote and highlight their culture and traditions to other races,” The Star quoted Murugiah, as saying.

“The time would come when the community would stand tall and be recognised for its achievements,” he added.

However, he asked the Indian business community to further educate themselves and acquire more skills to be successful. (ANI)
