NEW YORK - Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s daughter was arrested for allegedly stealing make up worth 100 dollars from a skin care store.
Caroline Giuliani, 20, a Harvard student was caught stuffing makeup into her jacket pocket on cameras, at a Sephora store at E. 86th Street and Lexinton Avenue shortly before 2 p.m.
The security guard called the police, but when they identified who she was, they decided not to press charges. But it was too late, and the police handcuffed her.
“At some point the store indicated they knew who she was and that they were not going to press charges. The DA will decide whether to decline prosecution or not,” The New York Post quoted a law enforcement source as saying.
She was taken to Manhattan’s 19th Precinct for processing, where her mother joined her.
Another source said that Giuliani would be given a desk appearance ticket on a petit larceny charge and be required to return for a future court date. (ANI)
