NEW YORK - An NYPD officer Sgt. Larry Lopez, known as ‘Larry Love’ has been accused of sexual harassment against a former underling.
Officer Kervelin Compres testified he repeatedly hit on her - and even tried to entice her into a threesome.
She described how he told her he wanted to take her to a “special place” - his bed.
“He’d say, ‘You know you want LL’,” The New York Daily News quoted Compres as saying during the first day of Lopez’s departmental trial.
“I told him I wasn’t interested,” she added.
Compres added that she didn’t feel like coming to work anymore.
If he’s found guilty, Lopez could lose his job. He could also face lesser punishment, such as lost pay or vacation days.
Lopez insists, however, that they were nothing more than friends.
“We joked around,” he said.
Instead, he said, Compres was having marital problems, which was affecting her work.
“No cops wanted to work with her. She didn’t want to be a police officer. I didn’t want to deal with her and neither did other officers,” he said. (ANI)
