Chaos at IGI airport after radar develops snag

NEW DELHI - There was chaos at the Indira Gandhi international airport here on Wednesday evening after the radar stopped functioning for some time leading to delay of several flights.

“There was massive flight delay due to failure of radar,” reported NDTV.

Air Traffic Controls (ATC) radar’s problem developed after a software crashed from 5.54 p.m. to 6.14 p.m., the report added.

he incident affected the flights as arrival and departure of planes could not be possible.

However, all the systems at the ATC were restored soon.(ANI)
