KUALA LUMPUR - Models in Malaysia are finding it very tough to maintain steady relationships because of their long working hours and “jealous” partners.

According to former accountant and full-time model Adrazalina Abd Ghani, 26, it is difficult to keep a relationship going, as many guys are insecure about her career.

“My job requires me to walk the catwalk at fashion shows. And contrary to what people may think, many men attend these events,” the Star Online quoted her as saying.

Ghani, who is currently single, said that throughout her five-year career as a model, she has been involved in several relationships but the long hours and “trust issues” played a major role in the break-ups.

“Men should not be insecure about being in a relationship with a model. They should learn to trust us more,” she said.

She also complained that it is difficult to stay in a relationship with guys because of her job.

Model and mother Melati Azman, 26, said the key to having a successful marriage while still being a model was mutual trust and willingness to compromise.

Azman said her husband was supportive of her career and would regularly attend her fashion shows with their daughter. (ANI)
