European makeup, techniques showcased at cosmetic exhibition in Chennai

CHENNAI - Makeup artists showcased the latest European cosmetic products and makeup technologies at the fourth edition of Cinema Today 2010 International Exhibition in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The three-day-long exhibition began on Friday and concluded Sunday.
The exhibition was organised specially for the people connected with television, broadcast and entertainment industries.
European makeup artists demonstrated the use and application techniques of the latest cosmetics at the exhibition.
“In India, the awareness has increased a lot within five years. It is not like Western but Indians want to create more colourful makeup, and they try to experiment with lot of colours and techniques,” said Savitha, a local.
“Many people think makeup is just for people with high standards, it is not like that even a layman can use it. So this is a kind of awareness to lay people to know how to use the products, because not many Indians know how to use the products,” said Trishna, a model. By Jaikumar (ANI)
