Fast food boss dupes 15 Indians in jobs scam

MELBOURNE -A former Sydney restaurant manager allegedly demanded cash payments of up to 3500 dollars from people, all of Indian origin, hoping to get a job.

In all, 15 victims have by identified by investigators.

Between May 2008 and February this year, the man was employed as the manager of a Hungry Jacks restaurant at Parklea, in Sydney’s west, and was responsible for hiring and firing staff, the Daily Telegraph reports.

During that time, he allegedly received more than 20,000 dollars in cash payments allegedly demanded from people seeking part-time work as cleaners or restaurant workers.

The man has been charged with 14 counts of receive corrupt reward.(ANI)
