KUALA LUMPUR - Hundreds of Indian devotees of Malaysian origin are thronging the Midlands Estate in Shah Alam to see the light emanating from the face of a Hindu deity known as Amman.

The news of a light emitting from the “face” of the deity located on a mango tree at night made the devotees rush to the spot to witness the phenomenon since Saturday.

According to media reports, some of the devotees would burn camphor and conduct prayers at the tree.

A yellow saree has also been draped around the tree, which is near a temple that is under construction.

The temple will be known as Madurai Meenachi Amman, The Star reports. (ANI)
