LAHORE - Pakistan People’s Party Women’s Wing Lahore acting President, Faiza Malik, has said that the remnants of former Pakistan President Zia-ul Haq are conspiring against democracy under the garb of the judiciary.

Faiza further said that the conspirators will not succeed in their motives, and their desire of mid-term elections would not be fulfilled, The Daily Times reports.

She further said that those who escaped from the country after striking a deal with a dictator should look into their own hearts before criticising the present government.

The minister also stressed that the government would complete its constitutional tenure under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari

She said that all policies of the federal government were pro-poor and the Benzair Income Support Programme was playing an effective role in eradicating poverty. (ANI)
