NEW DELHI - The Rashtrawadi Sena, a pro-Hindu outfit, staged a protest in the national capital on Sunday against insult to External Affairs Minister S M Krishna by his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Qureshi had taunted that S M Krishna was getting repeated instructions from New Delhi and was updating his seniors back home.

Jai Bhagwan Goyal, the chief of the outfit, asked the Central Government to call off the dialogue with Pakistan at all levels.

“The government wants to sit with Pakistan on the negotiating table. The talks with Pakistan have been counterproductive-whether it was the bus journey by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to Lahore or Agra summit,” said Goyal.

“Whenever we talk, Pakistan takes it as our weakness and put us down. We believe that talks at all level with Pakistan be called off,” he added.

Jai Bhagwan Goyal further said the 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused had not been brought to book.

“26/11 Mumbai attacks accused are freely roaming in Pakistan. Dawood Ibrahim, the accused of serial bomb blasts, is staying there for last 15 to 20 years and even the hijackers of Indian plane are roaming freely there,” said Goyal.

Indian and Pakistan Foreign Ministers had met for over six hours on July 15, but remained poles apart on resolving issues of mutual concern.

Qureshi blamed India of adopting a stubborn attitude during the July 15 talks.

India has accused Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant group and its chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed of being behind the attack in Mumbai. (ANI)
