GANDHINAGAR - Gujarat Police on Sunday nabbed an illegal Bangladeshi migrant in Surat.

The man has been identified as Imayat Ahimuddin Sheikh, and police said that he resided in a ramshackle cabin and used to beg for a living.

“Police got information that a Bangladeshi national is staying near Islami Chowk. On that basis police arrested him,” said Head Constable Kamlesh Pal.

“His name is Imayat Ahimuddin Sheikh. He has been staying here for four to six months. He used to beg. No document has been recovered from him,” he added.
