28 miners killed in China’s coalmine accident

BEIJING - Twenty-eight miners were killed in a coalmine accident on Saturday in Hancheng City in China’s Shaanxi Province.

According to Xinhua, the provincial Government has said that an underground cable short circuit led to the tragedy at Xiaonangou coal mine at Sangshuping Township of Hancheng on Saturday night.

Rescuers have retrieved the remains of five miners till reports last came in on Sunday morning. (ANI)
