Six CRPF men killed by inebriated colleague in Jharkhand

RANCHI - In a shocking incident, six Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, including an Assitant Commandant were killed by one of their colleagues late on Friday night in Saraikela District’s Kuchai village.

According to reports, constable Harpinder Singh opened indiscriminate firing on his colleagues after consuming liquor killing six personnel of the CRPF’s C Company of 196 Battalion located in the remote Kuchai village.

Later, Singh was also shot dead as some of the personnel retaliated.

Senior Officers of CRPF have reached the spot and Police has registered a case.

Those who have been killed are Bikau Singh, Asstt.Commandant of Uttar Pradesh, Head Constable M.C.Patil of Maharashtra, Head Constable I.R.Khairnar of Maharashtra, Head Constable P.T.Rao of Andhra Pradesh, Head Constable Jatav Bhav Singh of Gujrat and Constable Vijay Kumar of UP.(ANI)
