NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Rumors are abuzz that workers at the Ground Zero construction site in the World Trade Center may have discovered a ghost ship buried in the mud of the devastated building. Reportedly, the laborers at work in Ground Zero came across some beams of wood while digging deep under the mud. These beams were supposedly so symmetrically arranged that the workers were sure of the fact that there was a ship hidden beneath the mud covering these pieces of wood.

As soon as word spread about a ship being discovered, a group of archaeologists keen on making a discovery at the construction site came to Ground Zero to discover the remains of a ship, which they predict belongs to the 18th century, and which is not a ghost ship in spite of the workers who were the first to make the discovery, desperately wishing that an 18th century ghost come out of the remains of the excavated site.

Apart from the remains which are being said as that of an 18th century ship, the archaeologists reportedly have also come across an old shoe and a huge metal collar in the excavations of Ground Zero. Archaeologists are of the opinion that the metal collar is a part of an oven that was on the ship. The ship was, reportedly, so old that its wooden parts began to show cracks as soon as it came into contact with the atmospheric temperature, its old quality probably inspiring the workers to refer to it as a ghost ship. However, there has been no confirmation in this regard as of now.
