NEW YORK - The mother of Levi Johnston, who is to marry Bristol Palin soon, has expressed hope that the families of the to-be bride and groom can put away their differences to join the couple on their special day.
“I would be absolutely devastated if I wasn’t invited to the wedding…That would kill me,” the New York Post quoted Levi’s mother, Sherry, as telling People.
Levi’s sister, Mercede, added, “I would love to be invited.”
Regarding the tension between the two feuding clans, Sherry said: “They should elope if they can’t have the Johnstons and the Palins together. But don’t leave us out of it.”
Sarah Palin, the former Alaskan governor and Levi previously had a stormy relationship, publicly insulting each other.
However, Levi apologized for some of the comments he made against his future mother-in-law. (ANI)
