Pallam Raju leads Indian delegation to Farnborough Airshow

NEW DELHI - Minister of State for Defence MM Pallam Raju will lead a three-member high-level delegation to represent India at the acclaimed Farnborough Airshow in UK.
Raju left New Delhi today along with Secretary, Defence Production, Raj Kumar Singh and Air Marshal S Mukerji, Commander-in-Chief, Southern Air Command as part of the official delegation to the Airshow beginning next week.
The Defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is among the 1,393 exhibitors from 40 countries participating in the biennial event.
The show will focus on a ‘Space Zone’ and UAVs this year.
Over 1,50,000 visitors are expected to witness the week-long show.
The much awaited aerospace calendar event generated worth over 88.7 billion dollars during the last Airshow in 2008. (ANI)
