MELBOURNE - A country hotel chef in Victoria, Australia, who had been groping employees at the pub for over six years, has been sentenced to jail.

Gregory Barry Fowles was found guilty by a jury of six counts of indecent assault between 2002 and 2008.

The Victorian County Court was told that he indecently touched two female employees on the breasts and groin area through their clothes.

One of the assaults occurred when he touched a female on her breasts in the pub’s cool room.

He also grabbed a woman on the pants and genitals area when they were on a hotel courtesy bus.

Judge Sue Pullen described Fowles behaviour as “totally unacceptable” and “most serious”.

“You were aware your behaviour was totally inappropriate,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.

Judge Pullen said Fowles was told by his boss and the two women to stop indecently touching them.

“Despite this you further offended within a few months,” she added.

Fowles, 41, formerly of country Victoria, was jailed for four years and must serve two years before being eligible for parole. (ANI)
