Heavy rainfall disrupts life in Delhi, 11 killed

NEW DELHI - At least 11 people have been killed in New Dlhi on Monday due to heavy rainfall. The city recorded 51.4mm of rainfall. The downpour began at 5:30 and continued for almost three hours.

The rains paralyze the parts of New Delhi on Monday. Six people died of electric shock, while another five, including, two children died in wall collapse.

There were huge traffic snarls across the capital and desperate attempts were made to clear out rainwater and fallen trees. (ANI)
