Sushma Swaraj offers tribute to 7/11 terror attack victims in Mumbai

MUMBAI - Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, on Sunday paid homage to the victims of the 7/11 serial train blasts in Mumbai, which killed at least 187 people.
Swaraj paid tribute to the victims at the Mahim Railway Station, where she lit candles near their photographs.
Earlier, on Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader had met one of the victims, Parag Sawant, who has been hospitalized ever since the terror attacks.
The 7/11 bombings were a series of seven bomb blasts that took place over a period of 11 minutes on the suburban railway in Mumbai.
The bombs were set off in pressure cookers on trains plying on the western line of the railway network.
According to Mumbai Police, the terror attack was carried out by Lashkar-e-Toiba and Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). (ANI)
