‘UFO’ that disrupted air traffic in East China remains a mystery

NEW DELHI - The unidentified flying object (UFO), which disrupted the air traffic in Hangzhou, capital of east China’s Zhejiang province, for an hour, is still a mystery.
“No conclusion has yet been drawn,” Wang Jian, head of air traffic control with the Zhejiang branch of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), said.
Some media speculated the UFO might be a private aircraft, but Wang said that the possibility of it was “just a guess.”
According to a source, the object had a military connection, although nothing has been clear so far, reports the China Daily.
The staff member at Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou said that the object did not show up on the airport’s radar.
“We should first find out how the owner got the approval to fly the object, even a fire balloon needs to get the authority’s permission before lifting off,” the staff member added.
“If the speed of the twinkling object is extremely high, it could be a military aircraft. But no conclusion can be drawn now, as the information is limited,” Zhu Dayi, who works at the Shanghai Observatory, said. (ANI)
