MELBOURNE - An Ohio woman seduced a teenage girl she had a crush on by pretending to be a 14-year-old boy.
Patricia Dye, 31, of Franklin, used the alias Matt Abrams to get along with 16-year-old girl.
She was charged with unlawful sexual conduct and corruption of the Springboro girl.
According to the Dayton Daily News, the incident took place in late May at the girl’s home.
“They were boyfriend-girlfriend,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Sgt. Bob Marchiny as telling the New York Times, adding that Dye “looks just like a boy.”
Cops started to investigate Dye, after the girl ran away from a hotel the two had been living in for three days.
The woman after being arrested admitted she was impersonating a boy but has no local criminal record.
The case was sent to a grand jury after a pretrial hearing in Warren County Court. Dye remained in Warren County Jail on a 100,000-dollar bond. (ANI)
