Mumbai , July 3: (ANI) Angry relatives of a prime suspect in the recent Mumbai serial killings, Ahmad Javed Shaikh, created a ruckus at the city’s Nehrunagar police station on Friday.
They argued with police officials and also accused them of having unofficially detained more people for interrogation in relation to the serial murder and rape cases.
Fatima, the mother of one such detainee Ejaz, told the media that her son had been wrongfully detained.
“My son Ejaz and Shaikh used to work together since before. We have been living here only since a year. My son just used to go to work and come back,” said Fatima.
Mumbai police arrested Ahmad Javed Shaikh on suspicion of serially killing minors after sexually assaulting them. (ANI)
