Summary Box: Coffee dips on Brazil’s crop prospect

COFFEE HEADACHE: Traders lost their appetite for coffee futures as a warm weather forecast offered some help for the Brazilian coffee harvest. Coffee prices fell about 2.5 percent Friday but are still up about 19 percent since June 1.

MIXED METALS: Copper and silver rose while other metals lost ground.

ECONOMIC PUNCH: Oil prices continued to slide after the government issued a weak June jobs report, adding to concerns that the economic recovery may have stalled.
