Afghanistan’s Deputy foreign minister visits India

NEW DELHI - Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Eklil Ahmad Hamiki visited India on Friday.

He arrived at the invitation Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, as part of regular foreign office consultations between the two countries.

“The two sides discussed a wide range of bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest,” said a Ministry of External Affairs statement.

“They also reviewed their development partnership and agreed to continue their consultations,” it further informed. (ANI)
