Shiv Sena leader shot in Mumbai

MUMBAI - An unidentified gun man shot at a Shiv Sena leader in Mumbai late on Tuesday evening.
According to sources, Sachin Sawant a local leader of the party was shot at thrice.
Two bullets missed him and one slipped out when his shirt was removed in the operation theatre.
Sawant is recuperating at the Nanavati Hospital in Andheri and is out of danger.
Sawant was sitting in his office when the incident took place.
Hospital sources said Sawant was not bleeding much, though the bullet damaged his ribs.
Police are questioning Sawant’s office assistant Hitesh Sharma, who was in the office, when the gunman fired at Sawant.
Police suspect that business rivalry might be a motive behind the attack. (ANI)
