WAGAH J - Reciprocating Pakistan’s gesture, India on Wednesday, released four Pakistani nationals who had been lodged in Indian jails.

The names of the released prisoners are Mishri Mal, Jetha Krishen, Shivai Virzi and Bimraj Vishbhi.

The visibly excited prisoners were handed over to the Pakistan Rangers near the Zero-Line on the Wagah-Attari Road that divides the two countries.

On Monday, 19 Pakistani fishermen were released at the Wagah border. These fishermen had been detained for trespassing into Indian territorial waters off the Gujarat coast over two years ago.

The released prisoners urged the two governments release all prisoners who were victims of inadvertent crossing. By Ravinder Singh Robin (ANI)
