KUALA LUMPUR - A committee has been set up in Malaysia to look into the grouses of Indian businessmen and foreign workers in the country.

According to the New Straits Times, the issue was referred to the cabinet, which then decided to set up the committee, which will be chaired by Human Resources Minister, Dr S. Subramaniam and Home Minister, Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

“Indians in the restaurant and textile business were among those facing problems when the government banned the hiring of foreign workers in the services and manufacturing sectors,” Dr Subramaniam said.

The duo is expected to discuss the matter further on Wednesday. (ANI)
