Botswana Vice-President meets President Patil

NEW DELHI - The Vice President of Botswana, Lieutenant General Mompati Sebogodi Merafhe, met President Pratibha Devisingh Patil here on Thursday.
He is also expected to call on Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and interact with captains of Indian industry.
On Wednesday, Merafhe met his Indian counterpart Mohammad Hamid Ansari.
He will head to Mumbai on Friday to interact with the Bollywood fraternity.
Merafhe arrived New Delhi on Tuesday night on a four-day visit with a large delegation of ministers and officials.
Accompanying the Vice President are Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Oreeditse Molebatsi, senior government, corporate and business officials from Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA), Local Enterprise Authority (LEA), International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), Botswana Tourism Organisation and some local entrepreneurs.
