Indian Bank Recruitment Announced

CHENNAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Indian Bank has announced the recruitment of 685 clerks. The official website of the bank has been open for the registration of the eligible candidates from June 6 2010. The last date for registration is July 7 2010 and interested candidates are required to submit their application online within the given date.
The process of application starts with candidates taking out the payment challan printout which is available on the official website. Then they need to pay the application fee at any of the Indian Bank branches. With the given registration number and application code given in the challan after the payment, the candidates are required to fill the online application form available in the website. Here they are required to fill in their educational, personal and experience details and then submit the form.
They are required to take the printout of their application which they need to show during the examination along with their copy of the payment challan. The candidates are required to possess computer knowledge and should also be able to read, write and speak the official language of the state for which he/she has applied for. The application fee is Rs 50 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and Rs 300 for the general candidates.
The age of the candidates should not exceed 28 years. The minimum age is for application is 18 years. The age as on 1.1.10 will be considered only. The candidates must possess degrees supporting their educational qualification that has to be either 50% in Higher Secondary or Equivalent OR a Degree from a Recognized University. The written examination will test the candidates in English, Mathematics, Clerical Aptitude and reasoning. Applicants shortlisted on the basis of the written examination will be called for the personal interview round by the authorities of Indian Bank.
