White House gatecrashers to star in ‘Real Housewives of D.C.’?

NEW YORK - The controversial couple who gate crashed President Barack Obama’s first state dinner at the White House will star in a new reality series - ‘The Real Housewives of D.C’.
According to The Washington Post, Bravo TV channel confirmed that Michaele and Tareq Salahi would feature “Real Housewives” franchise.
“These connected D.C. power players all have their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings, and fundraisers in Washington society,” The New York Post quoted Bravo as saying.
The infamous state dinner incident will be featured in the reality series but will come at the end of the season, Andy Cohen, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Bravo said.
The couple is rumoured to release a book too, revealing their side of the story of what happened that fateful night.(ANI)
