Botswana Vice President to visit India for four days

NEW DELHI - The Vice President of Botswana, Lieutenant General Mompati Sebogodi Merafhe, will arrive New Delhi on Tuesday on a four-day visit.

Accompanying the Vice President are Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Oreeditse Molebatsi, senior government, corporate and business officials from Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA), Local Enterprise Authority (LEA), International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), Botswana Tourism Organisation and some local entrepreneurs.

Lt Gen Merafhe kicks off his programme on Wednesday with a visit to National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Rapid Incubation Centre at Okhla Industrial Estate here after a briefing by Botswana High Commissioner to India, Dorcas Kgosietsile.

The visiting dignitary is expected to call on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Mohamed Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh during his visit. (ANI)
